Figuier Noir is a beautifully composed, delicious and sophisticated perfume which highlights different modes of fig at every layer; this is an exceptional example of fig in fragrance.
At the top, fig leaves are weaved with cardamom, cloves and black pepper for a warm and spicy opening. The fruity heart is produced by ripe black fig, jasmine and orris root. The base notes are carefully constructed with cedarwood, patchouli and sweet candied figs giving the everlasting richness of fruits and woods.
Celine Ellena, the perfumer was inspired by her time in Grasse as she experienced the beginnings of the French summer and the blooming of fig trees and their diffusive sensuous, bitter and green perfume. The intention is masculine but the scent is a perfectly unisex...
