Pure Azure (Discontinued) - Phaedon Paris - Bloom Perfumery

Almost a soli-note formula, Pure Azure is built around the orange flower essence (neroli) highlighted by salt, jasmine and fig tree leaves. The neroli oil is derived through steam distillation of orange tree blossom as opposed to much spicier and honeyed absolute obtained through CO2 extration. The neroli oil smells richly green, citrusy with a tenderly sweet floral nuance.

Pure Azure would be a good alternative to classic colognes, and much superior to these in terms of longevity. Viva fresh forever.

***

The Sniff on Pure Azure:
"There are honeyed undertones to the start of this scent, but they play second fiddle to the leafy green botanicals, at least initially. The aromatic greenery is the smell equivalent of plucking a clover flower from a meadow and touching one of the petals to your tongue. Sweet yes, but also verdant and full of life."
