Alessandro Gualtieri founded Nasomatto in 2007 as a reaction to being constrained by the rules and regulations of the fragrance industry as a corporate nose. He embraced his nickname “Crazy Nose”, deciding it was a fitting name for his fiercely independent brand. Nasomatto rejects conventions such as olfactory pyramids, preferring to let the perfumes evolve idiosyncratically.
